Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain waterjet machines to produce accurate, high-quality parts.
• Cut and profile various materials per job specs, using blueprints, work orders, and CAD files.
• Program and adjust CNC cutting paths and machine parameters.
• Load and set materials using a forklift or 20-ton bridge crane.
• Monitor cutting performance and adjust speed, pressure, and abrasive flow.
• Inspect and maintain cutting heads, nozzles, and abrasive systems; perform minor repairs and track spare parts.
• Verify part quality with precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate complex ones.
• Assist with material handling, shop organization, and general labor tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Support production schedules and collaborate with Engineers and the Production Manager on accuracy and process improvements.

Physical Requirements & Qualifications

• Lift up to 55 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred.
